John Hoobyar is a curator, producer, and dancer based in New York. Ever an omnivorous cultural worker, he has edited arts publications, curated public art programs, managed artist finances, directed casting, prepared artist visa applications, and, of course, danced.

The Tanzkongress 2019 Salons was a series of artist gatherings initiated by Meg Stuart that took place in New York, Bogotá, Madrid, Helsinki, New Delhi, and Ouagadougou.
